Netflix of the Week

This week's movies were somewhat slum... or maybe I was just on a whole other page.....

Now normally Matthew and Kate are such a good duo on screen to me, but this movie did not grab me in and eventually I just started doing other things while it was going on.

Roscoe Jenkins was OKAY. It was an okay movie to watch, by far not my favorite black film but more like a Madea movie... minus the Medea and a whole lotta Mo'nique. It had it's funny moments, but I just wish that we could have a black family film that wasn't about that summer's family reunion.

The best movie I watched this week was 75% in Spanish. Under the Same Moon was a movie about a boy who follows his mother, an illegal immigrant to the US, and his journey to find her once he finds passage into the country. It was a touching tale and it helped me brush up on my Spanish.
