Amerie got dropped from Columbia Records a while ago, but now she has a brand new deal with Def Jam, which I think is an excellent move. If they can make Rihanna into a superstar, then I am sure that Amerie will have a shot over there, if they play their cards right. She had semi-success with her first two albums, but she remains most popular overseas, where they LOVE her... I really hope that she can do it big on Def Jam because she is not void of talent and she def deserves her time to shine.
